Well now we are aproaching the end of another season how has it went.
For myself it has been very mixed , it has been a great sea trout season no doubt because i have concentrated more for them this year than usual . As regards Ferox it has been not so good but i havent been puting in so much effort mainly down to the guys i have been out with wanting to fly fish for trout and on that front it has been extremely good.
I have allso had a good year for pike so far and hope to carry on with that.
I will have one more go for the ferox before the end of the season and then it will be grayling and pike untill the trout season starts again.
I love winter grayling fishing and i am looking forward to that if anyone fancys giving it a go let me know and we can arrange an outing.
I will be having a couple of days on Oich in the next couple of weeks with my boat and i allways seem to do well there had a couple of pike over twenty last time

I still have 6 weeks to go until the end of my season, lomond ends on the 31st oct, after that i plan to do a bit of pike fishing on the loch and also i want to try and get some big perch, i have some jigs i got from the States i want to try, there are certain areas in the loch that have got big fish in them all year long and i want to find out what they are ( i think there are perch) but it might even be a coelacanth you just never know on lomond

Hi my season has been better on the bank than boat this year, have caught a few pike from the Ard trolling but nothing compared to last year. loch awe has been very kind to me from the shore but only one pike of about 12 lb from the boat. haven't been out on the boat that much this year due to hand and arm injury but have had some great days out. Going out for a long weekend this week in hopefully the downrigger will lose its cherry ( i am starting to sound like a parrot with that phrase). But i am still holding my head high even tho it is a season and a half.
