It seems the forum is no longer free, Google has stuck ads on it, i dont like it but i dont think there is anything i can do about it Sad Sad

There is no costs to me Scotty, there was just ads that popped up on the pages , they have stopped now confused maybe they were just doing a trial run of ads???

James, whilst it's not ideal, I don't think the odd add will detract from the quality of teh forum.

There are very few now that are advert free. I noticed the banner at the top of the page one evening last week but I don't think it's too much of problem.

Echo Scotty's comments re cots if it came down to that but 9/10 boards have the odd advert.

Hi James,

Its not ideal having the adverts, especially when most of them have nothing to do with the forum type....although I think you can pay to have a forum which is free of ads, I'm not sure the exact details but I think its about £ 10 a month, I would be happy to pay toward that type of cost if the ads became a problem. Or you could perhaps arrange for someone who has a buiness relected to Fishing sponser the site for a few months...just a thought...

I had been logged-off and could see all the ads, when I logged on, they had all gone. it seems if you are properly logged-on you will not see the ads Smile

Still alive Scotty! Our hol in Lochinver was a waste of time. We fished bank and boat and caught very little. I will call u for a chat sometime and fill in the details.
PS I should bin that outboard if I was you Rolling Eyes Wink

My mates are up fishing loch Oich for pike for a few days i had to stay home and go to a feckin birthday party all i need now is for them to phone and say the fishing is great
