Had my first outing since april last week on the garry.Arrived early to a pike fisher kipping in his motor on the slipway

did'nt think he was too happy at being woken up

.Forgot about the dreaded midge and got bit to f*$k while getting the boat ready(must remember midgy net and gloves next time).Had not fished the garry in a while so it took a bit of getting used to,downriggers were up and down more often than a whores knickers

.After about an hour and no fish i went for a wee kip up front

in to a deep sleep and get woken with big bro shouting i have got one,and he did it was a tiny one.Up front for another sleep, half hour in and its ive got another one, this time a lovely fish a about 2/3 lbs beautifully marked.Back to sleep for another 20 mins and again woken for a wee troot about a pound.Determined to get a sleep i put my head down again,20 mins i've got another, this time a wee jack about a pound and a half.By this time it was about 10 ish and thought no good just stay awake, did'nt touch another thing until the last run down the loch.We had taken the riggers in and were just fishing the side rods when one of the rod holders snapped

luckily bog bro caught it before it went out the back, and was was shaking as he thought he had a monster on

nope another about a pound and a half

.Got the boat out and packed away before heading up the Tomdoun and having a wee lager shandy for the trip back down the road.A very enjoyable trip and hopefully not as long till the next one.
