The lures are all made from balsa or obeche wood, the balsa lures are eaisier to make and shape but i think the obeche wood makes a better lure as its harder and has a bit more weight to it and will stand up to Pikes teeth better than balsa. I then tried using the hard foam that the DAM minnows are made from , it also makes a nice lure but the foam expands at a differing rate according to the ambient temperature so you end up getting lures of differing sizes ie; fat ones and thin ones depending on how warm the day is plus ...
