I just bought a portable folding boat from a guy on scot adds it has hardly been used. The reason i bought it is to get to these hard to access places, i have my kyak but you cant fish a couple of guys on it.
Anyway what i want to know is doese anyone know anything about ailsa craig outboards because the guy gave me one with the boat and it looks in great condition
Is it worth holding on to even though they must have went out with Noahs ark
but i would love to get it going.
I got a fuel tank with it but the guy who sold me them knows bugger all about boats or engines it must be two stroke ? i assume any information greatly appreciated
but please dont tell me to bin it

A folding boat i would be worrying that it folds up on me halfway down the Endrick bank .

Scotty if you look on the P&P forums you will find some info on them i know some of the pike guys in england use them.
