Allan, here is a picture of the downrigger, as you can see simple but very effective. Can be placed anywhere on the boat.

That is a great setup. Nice looking boat. I have plans in the future to put a board on the stern of my arran to hold the downrigger and poker rod. I quite fancy an electric DR myself but that will not happen until there is a big change in the £ vs $. I already have a Cannon Easi troll but being able to touch a button to bring the ball up would be luxury when you have to content with a rod, fish and boat all at the same time.

I bought the stickers on e bay i just punched in fish decals , i cant remember the company .I allso have two salmon stickers on the back of my truck they are very hard wearing and will last for years.
I bought the downrigger second hand and i havent used it on my boat yet Mike got one too we used his at the start of the season and i was very impressed
