thinking of buying a pebble yorkshire wanting to no if suitable for trolling and how stable they are first time boat

Iam not too sure what a Pebble is, is it one of those boats that is pointed at both ends with a well inside to take the outboard?
If it is it should be pretty stable as they use them for launching beaches and the pointy stern is to stop the boat being flipped by the incoming waves.

Can you post a pic of the boat?

Ive seen them for sale and seen them on barra.Big sturdy looking boats a bit like long liner/ arrans.But very rounded and very beamy.Id use one.

when Kielder Reservoir opened years ago, they had Pebbles (16' I think). They had a very high bow which made them prone to being blown about easily by the wind. If they are still the same I would avoid them. Nothing wrong with a longliner tho! I have been out to sea in one and always felt safe. (Well, as safe as you can do in a force 6 )
